Michelle Koert, G.G., CTA
With a love of all things romantic and an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit, I.T. industry veteran Michelle Koert parlayed her passion and drive into two distinct business enterprises geared at helping the "romantically challenged" - Marry Me and Romance Concierge Services. Believing that everyone could use a little time for romance, no matter how hectic life can be, Koert's creative vision and genuine interest in enhancing couples' love lives are helping bring her breakthrough companies to the forefront of a very underserved niche.
At 31, the Canadian-born Koert shifted gears after spending 10 years working as a Client Relations Specialist with one of the biggest brands in the tech sector, IBM. A natural romantic at heart, her focus now is to turn both Marry Me and Romance Concierge into the leading providers of unparalleled romantic experiences. Going 'above and beyond' is a credo that Koert herself has lived by her entire career, and the foundation her companies' roots are firmly planted in. Throughout her tenure with IBM, she consistently exceeded goals and expectations and was often recognized by clients and peers for her outstanding performance. That same determination and commitment to quality is what drives the success of her businesses today.
After spending a decade working for IBM in both Canada and the US, in 2005 Koert decided to fulfill her lifelong dream of business ownership by launching Marry Me Services - a comprehensive consultancy for engagement proposals, an area of the marriage process that can be just as financially and emotionally overwhelming as the wedding itself. Realizing the market was flooded with wedding planners, but offered nothing specifically for the proposal occasion, she saw a void that needed to be filled. Koert seamlessly fused her creativity, solid network of contacts and strong credentials in both Gemology and Luxury Travel into a unique service that ultimately sets the stage for one of the most important and commemorative decisions a couple can make - marriage. She strives to make engagement planning as commonplace as wedding planning.
Soon after the launch, several of Koert's clients and colleagues inquired about engaging her expertise for other romance-related endeavors like anniversaries, special vacations, romantic getaways, Valentine's Day celebrations, proms and for some simply just because. Thus, Romance Concierge was born. Taking Marry Me's innovative packages to the next level, Koert subsequently started Romance Concierge, a "one stop romance shop" that provides private and personalized concierge services such as specialty gifts, exotic vacations, sexy date makeovers and intimacy workshops for every stage of the relationship.
Koert, botth companies' premier Romance Concierge, is basically a romance specialist. And, with an impressive list of satisfied clients whose romantic experiences she's designed and mastered, nobody would question it. She coined the moniker 'Romance Concierge' and is currently in the process of registering its trademark. Along with her Graduate Gemologist and Accredited Jewelry Professional degrees from the Gemological Institute of America and her Luxury Travel Consulting certification from Los Medanos College, Koert holds a Bachelors Degree in Politics and International Business from the University of Waterloo, where she graduated with honors. She currently resides in the popular seaside community of Solana Beach, in San Diego's North County.

Hillary Gadsby-Thierry
A romantic at heart, Hillary Gadsby-Thierry joined Romance Concierge as a partner for the Los Angeles area in 2007.
Prior to her partnership with Romance Concierge, Hillary lived in Europe for 10 years where she worked in marketing and sales for noted designers such as: Ralph Lauren and Gucci. As an executive assistant to the CEO of a well-known French Haute Couture House, Hillary immersed herself in the world of luxury. She has travelled all over Europe from France, Spain, Italy, Germany, England and Luxembourg.
Hillary is always in the know of what is hot in fashion and lifestyle all over the world.
After 8 years in Paris, France Hillary decided to move to London, England where she pursued a career in the bridal industry where she was in charge of marketing and event planning for all new product launches for Vera Wang, Valentino and Elie Saab.
